Designed to keep you present.
At parties, weddings, birthdays, and festivals, we observed a shared problem. People were spending their nights viewing events through their screens, immediately posting stories, or managing disjointed photo sharing across multiple chat threads. The raw, present energy of a great night was getting fragmented.
We built NightRoll to recapture the organic excitement of a classic disposable camera: the thrill of shooting limited moments, the release of putting the phone away, and the shared anticipation of seeing all photos developed together the next day.
Our Core Principles
By enforcing strict shot limits (e.g. 10 or 15 photos per guest), we turn snapping photos into an intentional, creative choice rather than continuous recording.
No guest accounts. No public indexes. The host dictates who can download or view. Row-level security guarantees data remains private.
Guests scan a QR code, pick a name, and start capturing immediately via their web browser. No App Store download, no email registration.
Hosts retain total authority over the developed roll. Filter out blurry shots, duplicate clicks, or inappropriate content before the album opens.
A New Way to Remember
Whether it is an underground techno party, a cozy backyard birthday, or a wedding banquet, NightRoll is there to hold the memories safe until the morning sun comes up. We make sure the night stays with the people who lived it.
Your night, your camera.
